Some brokers restrict short holding times, hedged positions or trading around news. Olla Trade does not: scalping, hedging, news trading and automation are all permitted on every account type, within the account terms.
Scalping permitted

What a backtest does not tell you
A strategy tester result is a simulation over historical data. It does not predict live results, and past performance is not indicative of future results. Curve-fitting a strategy until it looks good on history is the most common way automated trading goes wrong.
Live execution differs from simulation. Spreads are variable and widen around news and at session boundaries; slippage can occur in either direction; and Olla Trade publishes no execution-speed or precision guarantee. Backtests using ideal fills will overstate results.
An EA does not remove risk — it applies your rules faster and without hesitation, including when those rules are wrong. A strategy left running unattended can accumulate losses as efficiently as gains.
You remain responsible for the positions your software opens, for maintaining sufficient margin, and for monitoring that it behaves as intended. Margin call applies at 80% and stop out at 20%.

Market execution
Orders are transmitted to liquidity providers and filled at the best available price at the time of execution — no dealer confirmation required.
No requotes

Can I backtest before going live?

Is scalping restricted?
